  • Ceremony organized for the retirement of ADGP South Range

(Rewari News) Rewari. A farewell ceremony was organized in Dharuhera on the occasion of retirement of ADGP South Range Rewari Rajendra Kumar. SP Rewari Gaurav Rajpurohit, SP Nuh Vijay Pratap and SP Mahendgarh Arsh Verma were mainly present at the programme.

Meanwhile, Rajendra Kumar, ADGP of South Range, who received the President’s Medal and retired after serving in the police department for 34 years, said police personnel should make continuous efforts to earn public trust by developing of mutual coordination. Earning public trust is the best step for police to curb crimes. He said there is a continuous change in the mindset of common people towards the police. This is the result of the good behavior and hard work of the police officers. Popular cooperation is useful for the police in suppressing criminals. Police officers must continually work in a spirit of service, safety and cooperation and live up to public expectations.

These are the main achievements.

ADGP Rajendra Kumar joined Haryana Police as DSP in July 1990. He became an Indian Police Service officer in 2002. During his service, he has been DSP Gurugram, SP Faridabad, SP Traffic, SP Crime Branch, Commandant II Corps, Haryana Electricity Transmission Corporation Limited, DIG Vigilance, DIG CM Flying Squad, Director Vigilance Public Utility, IG Vigilance, IG CM Flying Squad, IGP and ADGP South Range. He has held important positions such as. He received the Police Medal in 2016 and the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service in 2024. He assumed office as South Range IG on August 28, 2023. After serving in the police department for 34 years, He retired from the position of ADGP on October 31.

On this occasion, Rewari SP Gaurav Rajpurohit, Nuh SP Vijay Pratap and Mahendragarh SP Arsh Verma together honored ADGP Rajendra Kumar by wearing a turban and presenting him with a souvenir. Everyone congratulated him, wishing him good health and a happy family life. Apart from this, the staff of ADGP office and all the DSP South Range Rewari present also presented a bouquet to ADGP Rajendra Kumar and bid a fond farewell wishing him a bright future.
