This incident took place in Devin Tola locality of Kannauj Sadar Kotwali area. Here a 10-year-old girl had gone out to look for her buffalo. While looking for the buffalo, the girl came near a garden. The 40-year-old man who was already there caught the girl and took her to a ruined place. Where he raped the girl.
When a woman who was nearby saw the girl scream, she grabbed the young man who was raping her and raised the alarm, so other people from the town also arrived there. After this, they captured the young man and then took him hostage and informed the police. The police came to the information and arrested the accused youth and took him to the police station. They have registered a case in this matter and have initiated further action.
Regarding this incident, SP Amit Kumar Anand said that information was received about the rape of a 10-year-old girl. In this case, the accused was detained at Kannauj police station. A case has been registered and legal action is being taken.
