(Kaithal News) Kaithal. Every year on October 31, the nation celebrates Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday as National Unity Day. On this occasion, as per the instructions of SP Rajesh Kalia, police employees and officers were administered oath at all police stations and outposts to maintain the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
The oath taken by the police read: I solemnly swear that I will dedicate myself to maintaining the unity, integrity and security of the nation and will also do my best to spread this message among my countrymen. I take this oath in the spirit of unity of my country, which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to contribute my grain of sand to guarantee the internal security of my country.
