Diwali became global festival of lights, India’s respect increased: Manohar

(Panipat News) Panipat. The district level Diwali meet and greet ceremony was organized at MJR Institute, Panipat. Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Development Manohar Lal attended the ceremony as chief guest. Haryana Panchayat Minister Krishna Lal Panwar and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda were special guests. Urban MLA Pramod Vij, Samalkha MLA Manmohan Bhadana, State General Secretary Dr Archana Gupta and former MP Sanjay Bhatia were present as special guests. Former mayor Avneet Kaur and Panipat representative of Union Minister and Karnal MP Manohar Lal Gajendra Saluja were present as special guests. BJP district president Dushyant Bhatt presided over the programme.

The program began with lighting of the lamp and slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Jai Shri Ram. The chief guest wished Diwali, Lord Vishwakarma Day, Haryana Day, Govardhan Puja Day and National Unity Day. Addressing the function, Union Power Minister Manohar Lal said that the festival of Diwali conveys an auspicious message of happiness and prosperity and this unique festival of Diwali is now celebrated in most of the countries of the world like the World Festival of Lights.

Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said education is the foundation of development.

Diwali: Along with the progress of India and the people of India, the interest of the people of the world in everything Indian is continuously increasing. Addressing the function, Haryana Panchayat Minister Krishnalal Panwar said Panchayati Raj institutions have existed in one form or the other in India since ancient times. Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said education is the foundation of development. State General Secretary Dr. Archana Gupta said that Diwali is the festival of light to eradicate the darkness of ignorance.

Samalkha MLA Manmohan Bhadana said that our youth should be inspired by great men like Sardar Patel and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Expressing gratitude to all the guests, officials and senior workers who attended the function, BJP district president Dushyant Bhatt said that the people of Panipat district have created a new history by blooming lotuses in the four assemblies. Not only this, for the first time in Haryana politics, the BJP has flourished in Samalkha.
