A fire broke out in Uluberia.
Three innocent people lost their lives when their house caught fire due to a spark from a flare on Friday night on the occasion of Kali Puja at Uluberia in Howrah district of West Bengal. Among the deceased were Tania Mistry (11), Ishan Dhara (3) and Mumtaz Khatoon (5). Two people, including Manisha Khatun, were seriously injured in the accident. He is receiving treatment in the hospital.
dThe incident took place in Banitala of Ward 27 of Uluberia Municipality on Friday night. Upon receiving the information, police personnel and firefighters from the Uluberia police station rushed to the scene.
According to local sources, the incident took place near the Uluberia flyover in Banitala. At local resident Kajal Mistry’s house, some children were lighting flares inside the house. At the same time, the spark from the flare fell on something and the house caught fire.

They were taken to the hospital in critical condition and doctors declared all three children dead. Two of them are receiving treatment at Uluberia Medical College in critical condition.
