The SP has named Irfan Solanki’s wife Naseem Solanki as its candidate for the by-elections to be held on November 13 at the Sisamau assembly seat in Kanpur. He performed Jalabhishek at Shivalinga during his campaign. He reached Vankhandeshwar temple on Diwali night. Here he worshiped Lord Shiva and lit lamps. The video of Naseem Solanki worshiping at the Shiva temple is viral on social media.

Vankhandeshwar temple is situated in Sisamau assembly constituency. In addition to the Muslim population, there is also a Hindu population here. It is difficult for any community to eliminate seats through unilateral voting. Perhaps keeping this in mind, the SP candidate had come to worship at the Shiva temple so that he could send a good message to the Hindu voters. But now she has been attacked by her own community.

Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi issued a fatwa calling this act of Naseem Solanki contrary to Islamic beliefs. Shahabuddin Rajavi Barelvi said that the SP candidate went to worship at the Shiv temple, so she should recite Kalma and apologize publicly.

After this, BJP MLA Surendra Maithani wanted to target Naseem Solanki and said that it was the socialists who had opened fire on the Kar Sevaks. Going to their temple and performing Jalabhishek is just a pretext. The public knows everything and only the BJP will win in Sisamau.
