There was an uproar in Karnataka over the ‘Shakti Plan’ in the Congress’ Siddaramaiah government. Because recently, the state’s deputy CM DK Shivakumar stated that his government would reconsider this plan because many women have expressed their desire to pay for the bus fare. Congress president Mallikarjun Khadane warned party leaders and said that if promises are made without considering the budget, it will lead to bankruptcy.
