RSS in Maharashtra elections – RSS to adopt ‘Haryana’ strategy in Maharashtra elections, here’s how it will respond to Congress’ narrative on the Constitution! – RSS planned a massive outreach program in Maharashtra in favor of the BJP-led alliance in the NTC state.

Ahead of the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is planning to organize a large-scale public relations program in the state. Just as the Sangh played an important behind-the-scenes role in the Haryana Assembly elections, in the same vein, this program will be run on a large scale in Maharashtra too to influence voters in favor of the BJP-led alliance.

According to senior RSS sources, the organization will organize over 300,000 small meetings across the state, focusing on voter awareness. Under this strategic shift, the RSS will act as a well-organized machinery, leveraging its vast network to influence public opinion and shape the electoral landscape.

While in the previous elections the RSS had mainly focused on voter awareness, this time it is taking a more proactive approach to translate programs into results. Sources today said that RSS is going to organize three big programs as part of its campaign:

1-Respect for the Constitution: The response to Congress’ ‘Save the Constitution’ campaign?
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will launch a massive campaign called ‘Samvidhan Samman’. This is seen as a response to the Congress Party’s “Save the Constitution” campaign. The RSS campaign aims to highlight how the Congress Party has allegedly repeatedly insulted the Constitution and also created hurdles by going against the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).

Questioning the Congress Party’s intentions, a senior RSS functionary said: “How can you talk about saving the Constitution when you go against its essence?” The official also expressed disappointment that the Congress Party, during its 70 years of rule, never respected the teachings of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.

The official said: “Those who conspire against Baba Saheb Ambedkar and go against his teachings cannot claim to respect the Constitution of India. Many people do not know that even today the name of Baba Saheb Ambedkar appears in the morning prayers of the RSS. “.

2-Lokmat Parishkar
This will be a campaign focused on strengthening democracy. In this, the RSS will highlight the good and bad aspects of the candidates and the manifestos of various political parties will be discussed.

3- Be alert
‘Be Sajag’ is a series of meetings in which the RSS will urge people to think carefully before casting their vote, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the sanctity of democracy. To replicate its success in Haryana, the RSS has started holding over 50,000 small meetings and public relations efforts through its volunteers in Maharashtra.

The success of the campaign will depend on the RSS’s ability to rally public opinion in favor of the BJP-led ruling Mahayuti coalition and counter the efforts of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) to seize power.
