Car companies offer great discount offers to attract customers, which is why people like to buy new vehicles every year during the festive season. This year, vehicle sales have created a new holiday season record. According to the official figures revealed, till October 30, i.e. before Diwali, more than 86,000 new vehicles had been registered with the Delhi Transport Department.

From the registration of 86,000 new vehicles, the government has received a revenue of Rs 366 million in the form of vehicle registration fees. During the festive season, on the one hand, there has been a decline in sales of scooters and bicycles compared to before, while on the other hand, there has been an increase in sales of four-wheelers.

The data also revealed that as of October 30, the number of light motor vehicles, including passenger cars and SUVs, sold was more than 22,000. The remaining approximately 56 thousand vehicles are two-wheeled. Officials said that during the festive season in November last year, 80,854 new vehicles were registered, of which more than 57,000 two-wheelers and 18,635 vehicles were registered.

Talking about Toyota’s sales record, the company sold 21,879 units last year, but in October this year the company sold 30,845 units. This means that the company’s year-on-year growth has been 41 percent.
