In such a situation, the angry brother killed his brother-in-law by stabbing him with a knife on Friday night because the brother-in-law was not arrested. The deceased Gaurav Kumar Bayasi appeared before the court. The incident took place near DSC Ground of Purnia treasurer deputy police station area. The police registered the case and started investigating the murderer.

According to the information received from the police, the deceased Gaurav Kumar Bayasi married Priyanka on November 28, 2021. After 4 years of marriage, on May 1, 2024, the body of Gaurav Kumar’s wife Priyanka Kumari, He was found hanging in the house. In such a situation, Priyanka’s family had filed a case at the Sub-Treasurer’s police station, accusing her in-laws of dowry murder. Priyanka’s brother alleged that Gaurav, his mother-in-law and father-in-law together tortured him, due to which his sister died.
