Only Hindus in temple council, but non-Muslims needed in Waqf… Owaisi angry at BJP

Asaduddin Owaisi

AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the new president of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a policy of allowing only Hindu employees to work in Tirumala, while the NDA government in the center wants to include non-Muslims in the Waqf Board. Owaisi wrote in a post on his social media platform Wants.

He said most Hindu donation laws insist that only Hindus should be members. He further sarcastically said that the rule that is correct for one should be the same for the other as well, shouldn’t it?

He will do it with honesty and transparency: Naidu

New TTD president BR Naidu termed his appointment as Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board chief as a privilege and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. expressed gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders of the NDA state government. Pointing out irregularities in the temple during the previous YSR Congress government, he said, “The sanctity of the temple must be protected, I will discharge my duties with honesty and transparency.”

Who is BR Naidu?

Let us tell you that BR Naidu is a prominent personality in the media world and runs a Telugu television channel including a Hindu devotional channel. The Andhra Pradesh government has recently constituted a 24-member TTD Board, which manages the world famous Balaji Temple located at Tirumala Tirupati. Suchitra Ella, co-founder and managing director of Bharat Biotech International Limited, has also been included among the 24 members of this board.
