‘We are not supporters of war, we are supporters of dialogue and diplomacy’, PM Modi’s message to the world from BRICS ntc – We are not supporters of war, we are supporters of dialogue and diplomacy PM Modi’s message to the world from BRICS ntc

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a message of peace to the world from the BRICS summit held in Kazan, Russia. The Prime Minister said at the summit that I express my sincere gratitude to President Putin for organizing today’s wonderful meeting. I am very happy that today we meet for the first time as a big BRICS family. I warmly welcome all new members and friends associated with the BRICS family.

The Prime Minister said that I congratulate President Putin on his successful presidency of Russia over the past year. Friends, our meeting takes place at that time. When the world is surrounded by many challenges such as wars, conflicts, economic uncertainty, climate change, terrorism. There is talk of a North-South and East-West rupture in the world.

Inflation prevention, food security, energy security, health security and water security are priority issues for all countries and in the age of technology, cybersecurity, fake news, fake news, etc. ., have become new challenges. In such a situation, there are many expectations regarding the BRICS.

‘The BRICS are not a divisive group but of public interest’

I believe that as a diverse and inclusive platform, BRICS can play a positive role on all issues. In this context, our approach must remain people-centred. We should give this message to the world that BRICS is not a divisive group but a public interest group.

We support dialogue and diplomacy, not war, and the way in which together we defeat a challenge like Covid. Likewise, we are fully capable of creating new opportunities for a safe, strong and prosperous future for future generations.

To address terrorism and terrorist financing, we must all unite unanimously and cooperate firmly. There is no room for double standards on such a serious topic. We must take active measures to prevent radicalization among the youth of our countries. We will have to work together on the pending issue of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism at the UN. Similarly, global rules for cybersecurity and safe and secure AI must be worked on.

Friends, India is ready to welcome new countries as BRICS partner countries. All decisions in this regard must be made unanimously and the opinions of the founding members of the BRICS must be respected. All member and partner countries must follow the guiding principles, standards, norms and procedures that we adopted at the Johannesburg Summit.

BRICS is an organization that has the willpower to change with the times. We must unanimously raise our voices for the reform of global institutions, maintaining our example before the entire world.

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the Russian city of Kazan on Tuesday on a two-day visit to attend the BRICS summit. Earlier, PM Modi had met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan. Both heads of state also participated in bilateral talks. During this, while referring to the historical relations between India and Russia, Putin said something that made Prime Minister Modi laugh.
