If you also have an account in HDFC Bank… then UPI will not work during these 2 days! Know the reason: HDFC Bank UPI services will not be available on these dates. See details on tutd.

If you also have an account in the country’s largest bank, you may have to face the UPI issue for the next two days, because the UPI service will not work during those days. Although these services will remain closed for a few hours, they will then operate as before. Apart from UPI, everything else will be available online and offline. This information is provided on the HDFC Bank website.

HDFC Bank said its Unified Payment Interface (UPI) service will be temporarily unavailable on November 5 and 23 for system maintenance. As per the information provided on the HDFC Bank website, these services will be unavailable for 2 hours on November 5 and for 3 hours on November 23, 2024. The bank said that to improve your banking experience, we are conducting the necessary maintenance of the system.

UPI will not work during these two days.

  1. November 5, 2024, 12:00 am IST to 02:00 am IST (2 hours)
  2. From 12:00 am IST to 03:00 am IST on November 23, 2024 (3 hours)

That service will not be available.
During this period, many facilities will not be available to customers. There will be no financial and non-financial UPI transactions on HDFC Bank current and savings accounts and Rupay credit cards. Financial and non-financial UPI transactions will not be allowed on HDFC Mobile Banking app, GPay, WhatsApp Pay, Paytm, Shriram Finance, MobiKwik and Credit.Pay for all bank account holders using HDFC Bank UPI identifier. Additionally, all UPI transactions for merchants acquired by HDFC Bank will also remain suspended.

What is UPI?
Unified Payment Interface (UPI) is a smartphone-enabled fund transfer that allows bank customers to pay/receive money using a single UPI ID. You can view your past transactions in the “Transaction History” tab under “UPI Payments”. This will also be visible in netbanking and bank statement.
