Dhamtari Police
A shocking incident has occurred in Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh. Here two young men killed a young man on the road by crushing him with a stone. After the incident, the accused threw the young man’s body into the pond and fled. The only defect of this young man was having stared at the accused. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot, detained the body and conducted the autopsy. While the case was being investigated, both accused have been arrested. During police interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime. The police are investigating the matter.
The matter took place on the afternoon of October 31 at Muzgahan village in Arjuni police station area of Dhamtari. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Amit Goswami. His father Mahendra Goswami lodged a complaint with the police. It is said that his son had left home to go to work on October 31. The next day his body was found floating in the pond. Initially the police thought it was a case of suicide, but after the autopsy it was found that the young man had serious head injuries.
Looking at it, the accused crushed it with a stone.
Following this, the police registered a murder case against an unknown person and launched an investigation. During this time it was revealed that Amit had a fight with two youths from the same village, Deepanshu Sahu and Vikas Sahu. Given this information, the police detained both of them and questioned them. In this the accused confessed to the crime. The reason given by the accused for the crime is even more surprising. The accused said that Amit was watching them. There was a quarrel between them regarding this matter.

During this time, they picked up a stone lying on the roadside and crushed Amit. When Amit died, they both hung him and threw him in a nearby pond and fled the scene. As blood was splashed on the accused’s clothes during the fight, he also took off his clothes and threw them into the same pond. According to the police, the accused were identified only by their clothing and were eventually arrested and sent to prison. According to the police, efforts will be made to start the trial in this case by submitting the chargesheet at the earliest.
