To conduct the Katehari assembly by-election in a fair and peaceful manner, District Electoral Officer Avinash Singh inspected several polling stations in Katehari assembly constituency on Saturday. During this, Superintendent of Police Dr Kaustubh, Director Development/Officer-in-Charge, Election Staff Anand Kumar Shukla, SDM Tanda Shashi Shekhar and BDO Tanda were also present. During this, he closely inspected the polling stations and gave necessary instructions to election-related officials. The District Election Officer inspected all the polling stations located in the polling stations in villages like Alanpur, Maheshpur, Aminpur, Mahwari, Ainwa Khas etc. He directed the concerned OBL and other concerned officials to maintain all basic election-related facilities including toilets, electricity, water and cleanliness etc. at all polling stations. During this, he said that no carelessness should be taken at any level during the electoral process. If anyone faces any problem, they should inform their nodal officer or returning officer in time. During the inspection, Superintendent of Police Dr Kaustubh took stock of the polling stations and directed the police officers to discharge their duty promptly. On this occasion, the district electoral officer congratulated all officials and employees deployed on electoral duties in a spirit of cooperation with each other to ensure the successful completion of all electoral processes. Instructions were given to work better to ensure compliance with the instructions of the Electoral Commission and conduct all electoral processes in a fair and transparent manner. During the inspection, the list of voters was also read at all polling stations and voters were encouraged to vote.
