Likewise, the former president of the United States and candidate of the Republican Party in the recent elections, Donald Trump, also commented on the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh. Donald Trump said: I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians and other minorities in Bangladesh. He said Bangladeshi minorities are being attacked and looted and Bangladesh is in a state of complete anarchy.

Hindu activists in Bangladesh are holding a protest rally in Dhaka. They demand 8 things from the government, which also include a law for the protection of minorities.
