There is currently a Mahayuti coalition government in Maharashtra. The Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena are part of it. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde rebelled and formed the government in Maharashtra with the BJP. Both parties will also contest together in the upcoming assembly elections. Commenting on this whole scenario, a BJP leader said that those whom we used to call traitors till yesterday have become traitors to us today.

The political scenario has changed. Those whom we called traitors yesterday join our party today and we call them proud. Times have changed.
