The air quality in Delhi remains very bad. On Sunday morning, the pollution situation was recorded in the category of bad to very bad. The most polluted areas remain Nehru Nagar and Anand Vihar. The air quality index here is in the dangerous category. The capital’s air remains continuously poisonous since Diwali. The climate of Delhi has also started changing. There is a slight cold sensation in the morning and evening. But people are worried about the heat caused by strong sunlight during the day. The temperature also remains above normal.
The Meteorological Department has predicted a drop in temperature from the next two days. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday and Monday is likely to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 18 degrees Celsius. It will begin to fall from Tuesday. The Weather Service reports that due to snowfall in the mountains, winter will soon begin in the plains. You will start to feel cold next week.
When will the effects of the intense cold and fog begin?
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in Delhi-NCR on Sunday. In the morning there will be light fog. In the afternoon there will be sun. At the moment there is no warning regarding rain. Starting in the next two days the temperature will drop by 1 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department says that in November this year it will be less cold in Delhi. The effects of intense cold and fog can be seen in December. At the same time, in the hill states of Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, there is a possibility of cold weather increasing from November itself.

The pollution level in Delhi’s air is continuously increasing instead of decreasing. It is becoming more dangerous since Diwali. According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) Sameer app, the AQI was recorded at 361 at 6 am on Sunday in Delhi, which falls in the very poor category. The worst AQI in Delhi is 431 in Nehru Nagar. Delhi’s air became worse on Sunday compared to Saturday. As temperatures drop, air quality also deteriorates.
