As soon as his car reached Bombay Gol Chakra near Alipur village on Sohna flyover, his car lost balance. The car crashed into the divider, jumped about 12 feet and hit a pillar. After this, the car fell on another car and a passing bicycle. The roof of the vehicle also hit the underside of the overpass. People ran towards both cars. When they dealt with the students, Akshit and Daksh were dead. In the accident, the third student Dhruv, the driver of the second car, Mohit, a resident of Sohna, and a cyclist, Ishwar, a resident of Palwal, were seriously injured. He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

The damaged car and bike were moved away with the help of Hydra. About an hour after the accident, the Bhondsi police cleared the traffic jam, so traffic returned to normal.
