Russia will launch two Iranian satellites into orbit tomorrow, that is, on Tuesday. Iran’s ambassador in Moscow gave this information on Monday. He also praised the close scientific relations between Russia and Iran. A Russian rocket will launch satellites built by two private Iranian companies into orbit on the morning of November 5. This initiative takes place at a time when both countries are on the brink of war with Ukraine and Israel.
Relations and trade between the two countries have strengthened amid Russia’s military attack on Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East. Space launches are just one aspect of their growing partnership. Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, said a Russian rocket is ready to launch two Iranian satellites, Kosvar and Hodhod, into orbit on Tuesday. At the same time, Western countries have expressed concern about this space program.
It will be launched into Earth orbit 500 KM away.
Both Iranian satellites have been designed and manufactured by the private Iranian company Omid Faza. “Continuing the development of scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Russia, on Tuesday, November 5, a Soyuz launch vehicle launched two Iranian satellites, Kosar and Hodhod, into a 500 km Earth orbit,” wrote Iranian Ambassador Kazem Jalali in a publication. on Twitter.
He said that this launch will be carried out by a Russian Soyuz rocket at 2.48 am Tehran time. Along with this, Iran has also issued a statement in this regard. He said the imaging and communications satellites have been designed and manufactured by the Iranian company Omid Faza. It is designed for agriculture, environmental monitoring and communication in remote areas.
Western countries are afraid of this.
Iranian Ambassador Jalali said Russia also previously launched some Iranian satellites. But this is the first example of a private sector initiative. He said: “The launch of these two satellites is expected to be a firm and decisive first step towards the entry of Iran’s private sector into the space sector.” At the same time, Western countries have expressed concern about the space program.

Western countries say they fear Iran could also use this technology to launch nuclear ballistic missiles. However, Iran says its space program is peaceful. This follows the United Nations Security Council resolution. Its goal is to ban Iran’s ballistic missile program.
