Chhath Puja is a festival that lasts for four days, in which this festival has a special significance for married women and family members. In this festival, women fast for the longevity of their husbands and the happiness of their children and offer Arghya to the Sun God. The start of this festival starts from Monday. In which women consume food with purity. Kharna will be celebrated on November 5. After this, the puja will be completed by offering Arghya to the setting sun on 6th November and Arghya to the rising sun on 7th November. This time, keeping in mind the faith in Chhath festival, all the ghats of Nagar Panchayat are being cleaned. At the same time, the CEO is trying his best to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. Sanitation workers have intensified the cleaning drive to clean the ghats.
Nagar Panchayat Jahangirganj CEO Vinay Kumar Dwivedi said steps will be taken for cleanliness and good drinking water of each ghat. The routes traveled by devotees will also be cleaned. Every effort will be made to ensure that no devotee faces any problem.
