Woman arrested with her two companions, woman used to catch drivers with obscene gestures
Punjab Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Mohali: The Mohali police have exposed a gang that used to rob people at night. These people usually had the help of a woman to commit the crime. Who used to stand on the side of the road and signal drivers to stop. If anyone passed by, she would trick him into talking to him and express her desire to have physical relations with him and then, along with her associates, rob him in a deserted location.
The police had been receiving complaints in this regard for some time. After which the police managed to arrest three members of the said gang. One of his accomplices managed to escape and is being sought.

The crime was committed on October 27.
According to the information received from the police, the said accused had robbed a person on the night of October 27. The accused woman took the man to a secluded place under the pretext of catching a ride. Where his other colleagues caught up and forcibly entered the victim’s car. They threatened and pressured him to transfer Rs 5,000 through Paytm. Furthermore, they had absconded with Rs 25,000 in cash. A case was registered at Zirakpur police station in this matter.

This is how the accused were identified
The accused have been identified as Mukesh Kumar (resident of Hall, AKS Colony, Zirakpur), Gurjant Singh, resident of Karala, Patiala district and Sandeep Kaur, resident of Machhiyan Wali Basti village, Jeera district, Firozpur. Cases have already been registered against the accused. A sword and stolen Rs 1,200 were recovered from the accused. During interrogation, it came to light that accused Sandeep Kaur was used by her associates Gurjant Singh and Mukesh Kumar to trap passers-by. Sandeep Kaur used to catch pedestrians traveling in vehicles making obscene gestures.
