Punjab CM News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh/Barnala: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said at the tour held in Barnala on Monday that his intention and objective is to work with complete sincerity for the development of the State and welfare of the people. Mann said the blessings of the people of the state are with him and he is continuously moving in this direction. On this occasion he said that today people in the state are getting better health services. Children have the opportunity to study in a better environment. In addition, we provide a better sports policy to the youth of the state and connect them with sports. Mann said that to work effectively a person’s intention must be clear. He said this by-election is very important.

The state government has provided funds worth Rs 300 crore to Barnala.
MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer thanked the people for attending the road show and said that the people of Barnala have always supported the Aam Aadmi Party. He appreciated the efforts of the party in the last two and a half years and said that no previous government has given more funds for infrastructure development here than this government has given in two and a half years. Barnala has received more than Rs 300 crore from the AAP government. He said we have ensured that people’s voices are heard and their needs are met. He mentioned specific projects like establishment of model drainage systems in many villages here and thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for it.

They were playing a friendly match
Mann said that only Dhillon (BJP candidate) had come to Barnala only to file nomination papers. He said Meet Hayer defeated Dhillon in the 2017 assembly elections, I defeated him in the 2019 general elections and then Meet defeated Dhillon in the 2022 assembly elections. Mann said his election symbol has changed, but his destiny will remain the same. Once again the people of Barnala will defeat him. He said these are the people who have defeated leaders like Badal and Kewal Dhillon. He said that before the Aam Aadmi Party, these leaders did not face any competition and played friendly matches. Now the public has completely rejected these people.
