Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
Following the Khalistani attack on November 3, a large crowd gathered last night outside the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada, in solidarity with the temple and the community. Organizers of the solidarity rally put pressure on Canadian leaders and law enforcement to stop supporting the Khalistanis. At the same time, the crowd loudly shouted slogans of Jai Mahadev, Jai Mahadev. The anger among the people over the attack on the temple was clearly visible.
Rishabh, who lives in Canada, said: “We, as a Hindu community, are very saddened by what has happened. We have come here to support the Hindu community. The Hindu community has contributed a lot to Canada and we are progressive, we add a lot of economic value, we follow law and order wherever we go, whether it is Canada or anywhere else. It is very sad to see the reaction of the politicians and the police, how they treated us… We have come here to support. All we want is justice. The rule of law must be respected and criminals must be prosecuted in accordance with the rule of law.
In fact, the Mahasabha Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, was the target of Khalistan supporters. Hindu devotees were also attacked. Although after this incident, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had said that attacks on temples and incidents of violence cannot be accepted, doubts arise about this statement by Trudeau and the action of the Canadian police. There is a world of difference between Trudeau’s words and the actions of the police.

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar’s statement was made public.
In a video it is seen that instead of taking action against people who engage in violence, the police are only taking action against Hindu devotees. At the same time, the Trudeau government suspended the Canadian police officer who raised the Khalistani flag. This is Sergeant Harvinder Sohi of the Peel Regional Police. Sohi was involved in the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton.
Here, on the attack on the Hindu temple in Canada, External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar said: ‘What happened yesterday at the Hindu temple in Canada is very worrying. You should have seen the statement from our official spokesperson and the concern expressed yesterday by our Prime Minister. This will tell you how deeply we feel about it.

What did PM Modi say about the incident in Canada?
Prime Minister Modi condemned the temple attack in Canada. Prime Minister Modi said such acts of violence will not be able to weaken India’s resolve. He said: ‘I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. The cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats are equally egregious. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Government of Canada to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law. Prime Minister Modi reacted in a strict tone. It has been described as a cowardly act.
Prime Minister Modi’s statement has also emboldened Hindus in Canada. The priest of the Brampton temple in Canada has said that Hindus in Canada must unite. If you stay together, you will be safe. He said: ‘Today we will have to think not of ourselves but of our future generations. Everyone will have to join together. We are not opposed to anyone.
