KDB prepared roadmap to organize Geeta Mahotsav

Kurukshetra News (Current Society) Chandigarh: The echo of the Gita Vani will be heard in the 48 Kos pilgrimage sites of the land of Mahabharata. The 48 Kos Tirtha Committee of the Kurukshetra Development Board is preparing a roadmap for preparations for organizing Geeta Mahotsav at the pilgrimage sites. Not only this, the KDB has also prepared a plan for the renovation of 48 pilgrimage sites in Kos. 48 The Tirtha Committee of Kos is engaged in efforts to give a new identity to extinct pilgrimage sites. Chief Minister Nayab Saini is also fully committed to the development of pilgrimages.
In this regard, Kurukshetra Development Board 48 Kos Tirtha Committee Chairman Madan Mohan Chhabra met Chief Minister Naib Saini on Monday. He expressed gratitude for the BJP forming the government in the state for the third time. He further congratulated Naib Saini for becoming Chief Minister for the second time. He presented the chariot of Lord Krishna-Arjuna as a souvenir. Madan Mohan Chhabra said that there are 182 pilgrimage sites in 48 Kos, of which restoration work is being carried out at 100 pilgrimage sites. Renovation works have been completed in many shrines and they will soon be formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
KDB should raise awareness among tourists about the importance of renovating pilgrimage sites: Naib Saini
Chief Minister Naib Saini said the government is fully committed to the development of 48 Kos along with Brahmasarovar. The KDB will prepare a roadmap for the renovation of the shrines. Special measures should be taken to make tourists aware of the importance of pilgrimages. Chief Minister Naib Saini said that apart from organizing the International Geeta Mahotsav at Brahmasarovar, there is a need to organize programs at all pilgrimage sites, which will increase the emotional connect of common people with Geeta. The participation of the common people as well as the saints and mahatmas of the 48 Kos pilgrimage sites must also be ensured.
Mahaparva will be celebrated in every pilgrimage on December 11.
Madan Mohan Chhabra, president of the 48 Kos Tirtha Committee of the Kurukshetra Development Board, said Mahaparva will be celebrated at all pilgrimage sites on December 11. If lamps are lit in Brahmasarovar at night, the 48 kos pilgrimage area will be illuminated by the light of the lamps. Not only this, the program of International Geeta Mahotsav will also be organized. During each pilgrimage, an exhibition will also be organized that shows the importance of the pilgrimage. A large-scale publicity campaign will be carried out to ensure the participation of local people in the Geeta Mahotsav International.
48 Kos Tirtha Committee president Madan Mohan Chhabra said that the International Geeta Mahotsav will be organized on the banks of Brahmasarovar from November 28 to December 15. The main Geeta Mahotsav programs will be held from December 5 to 11. An exhibition will be set up on the banks of the Brahmasarovar that will show the history and importance of the 48 pilgrimages to Kos.
