In fact, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has said that in the upcoming wedding season, which is expected to be booming in India from November 12 to December 16, there is a possibility of a business of approximately Rs 48 lakh crore. while last year the business was Rs 35 lakh crore. Last year there were 11 auspicious dates, this year there will be 18 auspicious dates, so the business is also expected to grow. Apart from this, a business worth Rs 4.5 lakh crore is expected in Delhi alone this year.

CAIT Veda and Spiritual Committee Convenor Acharya Durgesh Tare said that the auspicious marriage dates for this season are November 12, 13, 17, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29 and 4 , November 5, 9, 10, 11. , December 14, 15 and 16. After this period, there will be a break of approximately one month before the season resumes from mid-January to March 2025.

CAIT has estimated that an average of Rs 3 lakh will be spent on 10 lakh weddings across the country. Around 10 lakh marriages will cost Rs 6 lakh. There will be around 10 lakh marriages on which Rs 10 lakh will be spent, and the same number of marriages will cost Rs 15 lakh. There will be around 7 lakh marriages where the average expenditure will be Rs 25 lakh, while 50,000 marriages will cost Rs 50 lakh. There will be around 50,000 such marriages in the country, the expenditure of which is estimated to be Rs 1 million or more.
