Rajat Sharma Blog | Attack on Hindus in Canada: You will receive a befitting response

Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV.

Disturbing news came from Canada, Khalistan supporters entered the temple and attacked the Hindus, the Hindus were brutally beaten and the local police continued to observe the spectacle. The surprising thing is that those who forcibly entered the temple were Khalistani supporters, those who attacked innocent Hindus with sticks were Khalistanis, those who were injured were Hindus but the Canadian police did the opposite. Action was taken against the Hindus and the Hindus were arrested. The Khalistanis were freed by the police. Due to this, eight and a half lakh Hindus settled in Canada are angry and have taken to the streets to protest against Justin Trudeau. In Canada, slogans such as “If you divide, you will be divided” were also raised. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack on the temple and said that an attempt was made to intimidate our diplomats, but this will not weaken India’s resolve, the Canadian government must ensure that the rule of law is maintained and that everyone receives justice.

The Ministry of External Affairs has asked the Canadian government to ensure the safety of Hindus and take action against the Khalistani terrorists who carried out the attacks. Many Canadian MPs believed that attacks on Hindus, temple break-ins and clashes are a result of Justin Trudeau’s vote bank politics. He said it is wrong to allow violence against Khalistan supporters in the name of freedom of expression in Canada, but it is a matter of concern that some plainclothes Canadian police officers were also included among the crowd of Khalistans in the temple attack. Instead of arresting the Khalistanis, the police were seen trying to intimidate the protesting Hindus. There is proof of this in all the videos. The Canadian government calls it a confrontation between the local population. The reality is that fear of this attack was expressed beforehand but the Canadian police and government took no action.

The Indian consulate in Toronto, Canada, with the help of the Hindu Sabha, had set up a consular camp at the Brampton temple. Indian diplomats had gone to this camp to present life certificates to pensioners of Indian origin. The camp was created to help about a thousand people. Seniors who are pensioners and live with their children in Canada after retirement require a life certificate. These older adults must present their life certificate every year to continue with their pension. As soon as the news of the camp was received, Khalistan supporters announced a protest in front of the temple. Brampton police also gave permission to Khalistanis to protest right in front of the temple. At first there were only slogans, but as soon as some people arrived at the consular camp to obtain life certificates, the Calistanis armed with clubs attacked them.

They started beating the Hindus at the temple gate. When the Hindus protested against this, a violent mob of Khalistanis entered the temple and beat them. The commotion continued inside the temple for a long time. The Hindus started snatching flags from the Khalistani attackers. Some people brought the tricolor from India. He challenged the Khalistani attackers. The mob of Khalistanis entered the temple premises and continued to beat up the Hindus and the police continued to arrest only the Hindus. The person seen in the video raising slogans with a flag in his hand is a Brampton area police sergeant. His name is Harinder Sohi. Harinder Sohi was in civilian clothes with the Khalistanis who attacked the temple. He carried the Khalistan flag and raised slogans against the Indian government. In fact, Hindu organizations were already fearing such an attack because before Diwali, Khalistani militant Gurpatwant Singh Pannu had threatened not to allow any Hindu to use fireworks or burst firecrackers in Punjab. The attack on Hindus in Canada is a cause for concern. A question of. Not because some crazy Khalistani entered the temple, not because India’s enemies attacked the Hindus there. It is a cause for concern because the Canadian police provided protection to those terrorists.

It is a matter of concern because Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is helpless and trying to cover up this incident. Very few countries in the world would expect such double standards from a country like Canada. But this no longer surprises India. Over the last 4 years, Canada has become a base for Khalistan supporters. Canada gives refuge to these terrorists. People who have officially said that there are criminal cases against them in India. He is accused of spreading terror in India. Those who have admitted that weapons were recovered from them. The Government of Canada has also given shelter to those who support Khalistan and make anti-India statements on digital media. The Canadian government has kept him as a guest.

Last year, India had handed over the list of seven gangsters to Canada, but Justin Trudeau did nothing. Now, the attack on Hindus in Canada has exposed this entire conspiracy. Now everyone knows the consequences of giving shelter to rioters and gangsters, their anger is increasing, that is why Hindus living in Canada are angry. He believes that today it is Trudeau’s compulsion to help Khalistan supporters. His government relies on the support of 25 pro-Khalistan parliamentarians. But this won’t last much longer. Not only Hindus are angry in Canada, but a large number of people from the moderate Sikh community are also angry about the attacks on Hindus. They don’t want Canada’s image to be damaged. He also has a bad reputation on this. So the day is not far off when Justin Trudeau will have to bear the brunt of this. (Rajat Sharma)
