(Panipat News) Matloda. The October Handicraft Products Workshop was organized by the Department of Management, PKG College of Engineering and Technology, Matloda. In this workshop, department head Dr. Amit Sharma played the role of trainer. He said the objective of this workshop is to make students self-reliant by providing them with self-employment opportunities. Principal Professor (Dr.) Rajesh Gargi said that PKG College continuously makes the students of the college master the craft. He said that such workshops not only promote creativity among students but also help develop practical skills.
During this period, the contribution of Senior Professors Dr. Harish Sharma, Kapil Sharma, Pooja Jha, Gurmeen Kaur, Chanchal Goyal and Sahil Batla was commendable. Maximum number of girl students benefited from this workshop. In this program, students performed auspicious benefits by making and decorating utensils, donating flowers, decorating lamps, making tapestries, wall hangings, lanterns, peacocks, swastikas and chandeliers.
On the occasion of Diwali, a craft fair of all these made items will be organized in the university. The objective of which will be to attract people’s attention to the products made from crafts and obtain benefits from them.
President CA Gaurav Jain said that these fairs provide an opportunity to bring public the hidden talents of students. At the same time, they also increase the morale and courage of the students to show their skills. In the end, they introduced Rakhi, Tanjum,. Manjeet, Lakshya, Shivam, Shruti, Disha, Nancy, Anu and Hardik praised the handicraft products and said that organizing the Diwali Mahotsav Fair program in school is to create the desire to do something new in the children.
