He said cancer and traffic accidents pose new challenges to prosthetic expertise. Where not only hands or legs can be cut but any part of the body. In response to this challenge, prosthetic expertise has also made significant advances in the field of aesthetic restoration.
He said that women suffering from breast cancer lead a normal life with the use of breast prostheses after surgery. Artificial breasts made of silicone. Now even a finger can be artificially adapted if a finger is amputated. The nose, ears and jaws can also be artificially manufactured and adapted. He said artificial limbs must be manufactured by qualified prosthetists and orthotists.
