Ambala News: Ambalá. Department of Public Relations, Language and Culture Director General KM Pandurang said a unique effort is being made to showcase the history of freedom struggle burning from the holy land of Ambala under one roof. In relation to this fight for freedom, the government itself is building the monument to the martyrdom of the first war of independence in Ambala. The state government is making every effort to make this monument of martyrdom grand, beautiful, charming and amazing. A unique effort will be made to showcase all aspects related to this fight for freedom through 22 galleries. Necessary instructions have been given to the officials of the concerned department to quickly complete the construction work of this museum.

Director General KM Pandurang addressed a meeting of officials on Tuesday to review the construction work of the First Independence War Martyrdom Memorial under construction on NH 44 in Ambala Cantonment. Earlier, Director General KM Pandurang closely inspected the martyrdom monument. During this, Director Martyrdom Memorial Dr. Kuldeep Saini presented the construction work report of Martyrdom Memorial and gave detailed information about the civil work and art works.

During this, agency officer Ritika presented the report of the work being carried out as per the design on behalf of the agency and Public Works Department officials gave their opinion on the civil works.
While inspecting the Martyrdom Memorial, the Director General instructed the officials that along with the Museum, Administrative Block, Event at Ambala, Out Break Ambala, War at Ambala, Out Break of Haryana, Haryana Documentary, War in Haryana , War in India, Atrocity Tunnel, Atrocity in India, Tribute Tree and other galleries have been requested to be completed as soon as possible. Along with this, instructions have been given to periodically review civil and artistic works. He said that the state government is carrying out a grand and amazing project in Ambala with respect to the freedom struggle of 1857. This project will achieve its position in the country and abroad, so it is necessary to work focusing on all aspects of the construction of this museum, in addition to paying special attention to the quality of the construction work.
Director of Martyrs Memorial Dr Kuldeep Saini said that this international level monument is being constructed to pay homage to the martyrs of the first war of independence in 1857. Its civil work will be completed as soon as possible. This memorial will have an information center where there will be shops, a security room and a ticket office. Apart from this, there will also be a helipad for the movement of VVIP.
On this occasion, SDM Satindra Siwach, ACEN Ritesh Goyal, ACEN Amit Kumar and other officers were present.

This will be the center of attraction of the memorial.

The Director General said that the Martyrdom Memorial being built in Ambala Cantonment will have shops, children’s play area, reception, toilets, courtyard, meeting room, conference room and dining room in the centre. The museum gallery, audio-visual room, lobby, office area and Shahidi wall will be VIP entrances. The memorial will have an open-air theater with a capacity for 2,000 people, an exhibition hall, a food court, a sanitary block, a rehearsal room, a filtration room and other facilities. He said that apart from the auditorium, there will be a cafeteria, food court, seating area, lobby, courtyard, library and e-library. The water bodies will have various types of fountains, water screens, connecting bridges and other facilities. There will be a memorial tower more than 150 feet high, there will be an art gallery, a water body, a high-speed elevator, etc. The monument will have an underground double basement parking lot for vehicle parking. In addition to 400 cars, 20 buses can park here. In addition, 10 housing units will be built here for staff.

Ornamental plants will enhance the beauty of the martyrdom monument

The Director General said that the Horticulture Department should also plant ornamental plants here to further enhance the beauty of this place. The construction works of the Martyrdom Memorial must be carried out with better coordination as soon as possible so that it can be inaugurated and dedicated to the people.

An administrative block will soon be established at the Martyrs’ Memorial

general manager k. Makrand Pandurang instructed the officials that an administrative block should soon be established in the 1857 Martyrdom Memorial Museum so that all activities can be monitored from this administrative block and construction work can be completed at a rapid pace.

Through a power presentation, DFI agency officer Ritika gave detailed information about the galleries and museums to be built on the first, second and third floors of the First War of Independence Martyrdom Memorial in Ambala Cantonment through a documentary. to display the next martyrdom monument in a unique style. In this project, the themes created in each gallery were presented in detail through films.
