In fact, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had held a meeting of senior officers of the central paramilitary forces on October 25. During this time he had placed emphasis on the promotion of sports. The objective is for officers and soldiers to stay in top shape thanks to sporting activity. Any of those officers or soldiers can also take part in international sports.

CRPF has sent this message to all its sectors, ranges, group centres, battalions and companies. In any unit where there are more than 50 officers and soldiers, their presence in two games is mandatory. Sports competitions will also be organized according to ages. A mechanism has also been prepared to check whether all CRPF officers are involved in sports or not. Officers must necessarily participate in morning PT and evening sports activities. After this, they will be uploaded on the CRPF website from there. Separate sports competitions will be organized for senior citizens and sports will be selected according to their age.
