“On a standalone basis, the company’s total revenue stood at Rs 3,144.38 crore in the last financial year, which was Rs 777.84 crore in the financial year 2022-23,” Akasa Air’s parent company said. , SNV Aviation Pvt Ltd, in a presentation to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The total expenditure of the company increased to Rs 4,814.44 crore in the financial year 2023-24, which was Rs 1,522.27 crore in the previous financial year.

Capacity increased 3 times

Akasa Air’s capacity has tripled in this financial year. This has increased revenue per available seat kilometer by 10 percent. The airline’s CEO Ankur Goyal said that it takes a few years for any airline to stabilize, only then it can recover from the losses. He said RASK will continue to grow annually as the airport’s internal capabilities, brand presence and visibility increase.
