A case of alleged sexual abuse of a three-year-old girl at a famous private nursery school in Gurugram, near Delhi, has come to light. The police have registered an FIR. Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora formed an SIT to investigate the matter. Here, the girl’s family demonstrated in front of the play school to demand the arrest of the accused.
Playschool has not yet given any statement in this regard. Despite many efforts, the school principal could not be contacted. According to the complaint filed by the girl’s family, on October 28, a delivery man arrived at the girl’s house and began touching her hair after making the delivery. The girl then told her mother about the bad touch incident at daycare.
However, the girl could not name the accused or identify him, a senior police officer said. I also couldn’t say when or where this happened in the daycare.
An FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act was registered at Sadar police station and the police launched an investigation. Gurugram police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said police commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora formed an SIT to investigate the matter. He said the identity of the accused has not been made clear in the investigation so far and the police are investigating the case from all aspects.
