Ambala News: Ambala On November 6, Ambala Cantonment SDM and municipal council administrator Satindra Siwach said that as per cabinet minister Anil Vij’s orders, 10 big and small projects worth crores of rupees will have to be completed in Ambala Cantonment within the stipulated time period. Now the agencies will not be given any additional time apart from the stipulated time to complete the development work. If the development work is not completed within the stipulated time, strict action like blacklisting the concerned agency will also be taken.
SDM Satindra Siwach addressed a meeting of officials at the Municipal Council office on Wednesday. Earlier, Administrator and SDM Satindra Siwach received a feedback report from municipal council executive engineer Mandeep Singh, engineer Rahul Mor, engineer Kulbhushan, council engineer Dinesh Garg, junior engineer Jaideep Rana and Sandeep Dhiman on the works of Ongoing development in Ambala Is cantonment of municipal council. Giving strict orders to the officials, the SDM said that as per the orders of cabinet minister Anil Vij, the Municipal Council officials will have to expedite the pending development works and complete them within the stipulated time period.
Issuing field work orders for 10 new development works worth millions of rupees within the Ambala Sadar Municipal Council, the SDM directed that these 10 major projects will have to be completed within the stipulated time period. For this, necessary guidelines must be issued to the agency officials. Now these agencies will not be given additional time to complete the development work. If contractors are negligent at any level, strict action will be taken. He said all officials will ensure that they perform their duties with hard work and honesty and will maintain special focus on the quality of development work. If any deficiency is found in the quality of development work, officials will not be spared.
