Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta said that apart from general knowledge, English and Hindi dictionary knowledge will be imparted in all public schools in Ambala at the time of prayer meeting. For this, a general knowledge test will also be conducted on November 23 in all government schools of Ambala on the occasion of Knowledge Giving Day for the students of classes 9, 10 and 11. Apart from this, all schools public areas will become tobacco-free zones in the next month. In this district, education department officials will try to bring public schools in line with private schools so that more and more children can lean towards public schools. Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta, after inspecting the Martyr Major Gurpreet Singh Memorial Government High School in Tepla village of Ambala on Tuesday, gave some necessary guidelines to the officials. The deputy commissioner first checked the attendance record of teachers, staff and students of the school and received a feedback report from principal Meena Kumari on the school’s activities. Subsequently, the deputy commissioner inspected the bathrooms, classrooms and other rooms of the school.
During this, the deputy commissioner also asked some questions and answers to the students in the class. Not only this, the deputy commissioner also took stock of the drinking water system and the water tank cleaning system. The deputy commissioner directed the Education Department officials to pay special attention to the quality of education and motivate children to collect plastic-based waste materials. The student who collects the maximum amount of waste material will be honored at the school, block and district level. These students will be given digital watches as a sign of respect. He directed ACUT Ravi Meena to inform the DEO, DEEO and other officials of the education department about the Clean Ambala Campaign so that more and more children can join this campaign. He said that children should also be made aware of sports and cultural activities so that children can participate in these activities.
He said that children should be given detailed information about people who have done commendable and notable work in education, sports and any other field in and around the village and such people should be called to school and interact directly with the children. It must be organized so that children can move forward by being inspired by the lives of such wonderful people. Deputy commissioner Partha Gupta asked questions to children at Tepla’s Anganwadi centre. Public high school could soon reach No. 12
To meet the demand raised by Sarpanch Gagandeep Kaur, Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta asked the Education Department and the Gram Panchayat to increase the number of children in the school from 175 to more than 210 and efforts should be made so that not only the village Children nearby must be enrolled in school. The infrastructure of this school is very good and the District Education Officer Suresh Kumar has been directed to complete all the formalities and submit a proposal to the department to upgrade the school to standard 12 so that this school can get standard 12 soon.

Deputy commissioner Partha Gupta conducted a surprise inspection on Amrit Sarovar of Tepla village. Here, Sarpanch Gagandeep Kaur and Narendra Singh, along with officials from the Panchayati Raj department, gave a detailed report to Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta about the 0.25 MLD wet line that Amrit Sarovar constructed on 1.1 acres. The deputy commissioner said that this Amrit Sarovar should be clean and beautiful and the development work of this Amrit Sarovar should not be neglected.
