Kamala Harris addressed supporters at Harvard University following her defeat at the hands of Donald Trump in the US presidential election. He said: ‘My heart is full today, full of gratitude for the trust you have placed in me. Full of love for his country and full of determination. The result of these elections was not what we wanted. It’s not what we fight for anymore. But hear me when I say: the light of America’s promise will always shine. We should accept the results of this election.

Addressing her supporters, Kamala Harris said: “Today I spoke with Donald Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I told him we would support him and his team in that transition and ensure a peaceful transfer of power. The vice president accepted defeat and then became aggressive and warned the ruling party that she and her followers will continue to fight for the cause they have been fighting for.

Kamala Harris said: ‘In our country, we owe loyalty not to any president or party, but to the Constitution of the United States, to our conscience, and to our God. That is why I have come here to say: I accept this electoral defeat, but I do not accept defeat against the struggles that fuel my campaign. Harris said she will continue to fight for a future where Americans can fulfill their dreams, ambitions and aspirations, where American women have the freedom to make decisions about their bodies without their government telling them what to do.

Kamala Harris said, “Sometimes the fight goes on a little longer.” This doesn’t mean we won’t win. The important thing is that we never give up. He thanked his family, fellow Gov. Tim Walz and President Joe Biden for their support. ‘ Harris said: I also thank the volunteers who contributed so much to my campaign, the poll workers and the local election officials.

At the end of her speech, Kamala Harris urged her followers not to be disappointed and to move forward with faith, truth and a spirit of service. Kamala Harris told her followers: ‘I know many people feel that we are entering a dark period… Let us fill the sky with billions of stars, the light of truth, optimism and service. See the darkness with the stars. Her husband Doug Emhoff was also present with Kamala on stage.
