There will be a Trump government once again in the United States. Donald Trump will be the 47th president. He lost the elections in 2020. After this the world saw the orgy that took place in the US Capitol. After 4 years, Trump’s dominance is visible again. With this victory he has also created a record. The United States has achieved a record by coming to power after 131 years. He is the second leader after Grover Cleveland (1885-1889 and 1893-1897) to return to the White House after a four-year gap.
Donald Trump has 277 electoral votes. Kamala Harris obtained 224 electoral votes. Any candidate needs 270 electoral votes in the United States to win. The counting of votes is still continuing. The official announcement is pending. On December 17 there will be a meeting of voters. The counting of the electoral votes will take place at the meeting of deputies on January 6. The president will then be sworn in on January 20, 2025.

- Electors are selected from 50 states. Their number is 538. In the elections, the candidates of each party elect their representatives in all states. These are called electors. Their number is decided based on the population. The number of electors there will be in the state is decided based on the number of deputies in the Senate and the House of Representatives. The number of voters is equal to their number. From them the Electoral College is formed. The electoral votes received by Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are only estimates. The counting of votes has not yet been completed. It may take some time until the result is officially announced.
