The boyfriend was having an affair with another woman. That is why he ignored his wife and did not have relations with her. It is alleged that when the girlfriend protested against this, the boyfriend threw her out of the house. The girlfriend has now filed a complaint regarding this matter at the police station. The police also registered the case and launched an investigation. The matter is in the Gopiganj police station area. A resident has filed a complaint for physical and mental harassment against her husband and seven in-laws.
The superintendent of police said: The victim has alleged that her husband has been avoiding having any kind of physical relationship with her since marriage and is having illicit relations with another woman. In her complaint, the victim told the police that she was married to Jagjit Pal on May 23, 2023. The husband refused to approach her on the first night of their marriage. Which he ignored considering it was tiredness. But even after this he did not go to see her for four days. This sequence continued every time he went to his in-laws’ house.

Tortured by his in-laws
Apart from this, the woman said that when she complained to her in-laws after finding out about her husband’s illicit relationship, she was mentally tortured and harassed for dowry. Finally, on August 17, 2024, he was beaten and sent to his maternal home. In this matter, police say they have registered a case under various sections and launched an investigation. Additional measures will be taken accordingly.
