Punjab Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Tarn Taran: There was a sensation in Tarn Taran village in Banka when three bodies were found together in the drain that runs through the village. Two of these bodies were wrapped in blankets and the other in a sack. The people who were passing by the drain were the first to see these bodies. At first the villagers thought there were only two bodies wrapped in blankets. This was reported to the local police. When the police rushed to the spot and investigated, a dead body was also recovered from the sack lying there. According to information received from the police, the three were tied hand and foot. From this it is clear that the three people have been murdered. Police registered the case and started investigation.

Talking about this, village sarpanch Chamkaur Singh said that the three bodies found in the drain could have been brought from outside and dumped there. He said that currently the amount of water in the drain is less. There is only mud and other dirt. Therefore, it cannot be said that they had come floating in the water.

Rather, the criminals could have committed the murder elsewhere and dumped the bodies into the drain. Adding to this, the Sarpanch said that the dead bodies could have been dumped here some time ago. The drain is about a kilometer from the town and very few people come to this side. Even today, when people smell the bad smell, they become aware of the presence of a dead body.
