Before this, the Indian A team is touring Australia. After badly losing the first unofficial test match against hosts Australia, he is now participating in the second test match which started today i.e. 7th October. The Indian team has laid down its arms from the first day of this match.
In this match which was played at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia, one team won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first in this match, team India got off to a very bad start. The team lost its 4 wickets in 11 runs. The opening pair, KL Rahul and Abhimanyu Easwaran, failed to give the team a good start. Easwaran couldn’t even open his account as KL returned to the pavilion after scoring just 4 runs. In this way, KL’s failure continued in Australia as well.

KL’s cheap dismissal is not good news for the Indian team because he is part of the Indian team in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy which will be played from November 22. There is a possibility of Rohit being left out of the first Test. In such a situation, KL or Abhimanyu Easwaran may get a chance to open with Yashasvi Jaiswal. But due to the failure of both the batsmen in this match, the tension of the Indian team has increased.
In fact, recently KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel were included in the India A team’s squad to tour Australia so that both batsmen could gain some experience playing on Australian pitches ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
