Uproar and brawl in JK Assembly
There was a huge stir in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today. Lawmakers from the ruling party and the opposition clashed over the proposed restoration of Article 370. The matter became so heated that it even resulted in a fight between the two groups. Khurshid Sheikh, brother of Engineer Rashid, displayed the banner regarding Article 370. Opposition leader Sunil Sharma opposed this banner. After much uproar, the president adjourned the session for 15 minutes. Yesterday the proposal to restore article 370 was approved.
On the proposal to restore Article 370, Opposition Leader Sunil Sharma said that bringing a proposal against Article 370 is unconstitutional. At the same time, former BJP president Ravindra Raina said that the National Conference and the Congress party are driving Pakistan’s agenda within Jammu and Kashmir. Presenting a proposal against article 370 is unconstitutional.
