These are the strong men in the electoral field
This election will be important for Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Vading, former MP and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer and Manpreet Badal. This time in the elections, the situation is the same for former deputy CM and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. He has won three times from the Dera Baba Nanak seat, but now after contesting the Lok Sabha elections, he has also fielded his wife.
Randhawa has held important positions in Congress. Despite AAP’s wave in the 2022 assembly elections, he managed to save his seat. After this, he had done his duty well by winning from Gurdaspur in the Lok Sabha elections, but now his wife Jatinder Kaur is contesting from Dera Baba Nanak, so this election has become a matter of credibility for him. As MP for the area, his responsibility has increased further in the elections to ensure that the party performs well in this seat.

Manpreet Badal has been MLA five times
The results of the last elections were also not good for Manpreet Badal, five-time MLA and two-time Finance Minister. Last time he had contested from the Bathinda Urban seat in the Congress ticket and lost. Even he got only 18.12 percent of the votes. This time he is contesting from BJP’s Gidderbaha assembly seat. If Manpreet wins, these elections can prove to be a lifeline for him, but if the results are opposite, they can prove dangerous for his political future.
