BSNL has made a big announcement for millions of its customers. Government telecom company BSNL has announced the creation of 1,876 sites. BSNL has also started tendering for 5G towers. Offers for the 5G tower tender will be submitted before November 22. To participate in the tender, an amount of Rs 50 lakh will need to be deposited with the company.
BSNL 5G service may start this day
Let us tell you that BSNL will be rolling out 5G service for the first time in the country’s capital, Delhi. The company issued an advertisement inviting OEMs to start high-speed 5G Internet service in Delhi circle. There will be two types of 5G providers in the Delhi circle, a primary 5G as a Service provider and a secondary 5GaaSP provider. If reports are to be believed, BSNL may start 5G service with Makar Sankranti next year.
Good video and audio quality will be available on BSNL 5G network.
The BSNL 5G core network will support up to 1 lakh customers in the initial phase. With its 5G service, the government telecommunications company will provide customers with services such as mobile broadband, voice calls, video calls, data and ultra-real low latency communications. It is said that with BSNL 5G, you will get lag-free high-speed data at a low price.
5G connectivity will be available first in these locations
BSNL will take the help of 3.5 GHz mid-band to start 5G service. The government telecom company will first roll out 5G service in Delhi’s Minto Road, Chanakyapuri and Connaught Place. Let us tell you that BSNL has entered into a partnership of approximately Rs 19,000 crore with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and ITI Limited to start 4G service. BSNL has designed its 4G towers in such a way that they can be later converted to 5G.
