New Delhi. The election results have arrived in the United States, which boasts of being the largest democratic system in the world. After which Trump has become the new king of the United States. As soon as Trump became the President of the United States again, happiness was seen in the Indian society and various things began to be talked about on social media. But the bigger question is whether Trump’s victory will be a blessing or a curse for India. According to foreign affairs experts, Trump’s victory is a curse for India. Because from the first day of the victory, the Indian stock markets took it negatively and the Sensex plummeted more than 300 points as soon as it opened.
The economy is the biggest promise Trump has made to win. Inflation may rise further in India after Trump’s victory. Rising interest rates and rising cost of American goods may impact Indian companies. Among the promises President Trump made to Americans regarding the economy, the strength of the dollar was at the top. If the dollar strengthens, the value of the rupee will decrease. Which will be negative for us. Due to the strengthening of the dollar, India will have to pay higher prices for the products it imports, especially oil. This will also increase domestic inflation.

Exports between India and the United States will be affected

After Trump’s victory, it is natural that exports between India and the United States will be affected. Trump had already made it clear that if India does not reduce taxes, the United States will not reduce them either. During the Trump administration, Trump wanted India to reduce import duties for a sports bike company to zero. But India did not come under pressure from the United States and did not reduce import duties. Due to which there were difficulties in import/export between India and the United States. The matter was resolved after long meetings between foreign representatives of both countries.

Trump wants to eliminate trade barriers

As already mentioned, Trump wants to eliminate or reduce the trade barrier between India and the United States. President Trump has always been critical of India’s trade policies. Once again, when Trump returns to power in the United States, his administration can pressure India to reduce the trade barrier. This will affect sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals and textiles.

What will happen to the visa?

People from any country are always attracted to the US Visa. In this sense, there may be problems for Indians after Trump’s victory. Trump had banned H-1B visas last time. Indian IT companies present in the United States were greatly affected by this.

Shock for stock markets!

During the first Trump regime, the US stock markets outperformed the Indian stock market. During that period, the Nasdaq had gained 77 percent. While Nifty could rise only 38 percent. God forbid something like that happens again, but it seems to be happening. As soon as Trump took office, there was a negative impact on the Indian stock markets at the beginning of the session and the markets opened in the red. Sales were observed in the metals, automobiles, financial services, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, energy, private banking and infrastructure sectors.
