Chhath Puja 2024: Today, on the third day of Chhath Puja, the third day puja ended with the evening Arghya offering. According to beliefs, Arghya is offered to the setting sun on the third day of Chhath. In this puja, one mainly wishes to receive blessings from the Sun God for the happiness of the children and the well-being of the family. After offering Arghya at night, fasting women also recite the Vrat Katha. It is said that after offering Sandhya Arghya, it is considered very important for fasting women to recite this Vrat Katha. Chhath festival begins with Nahay-Khay. The festival of Chhath is celebrated with great enthusiasm mainly in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. On the fourth day, this fast ends with the morning offering of Arghya to the Sun God.
