WPL started in the year 2023 and has had two seasons since then. Mumbai Indians won the title once and RCB once. Delhi Capitals reached the final twice but had to face defeat both times. Now all franchises have published their retention lists ahead of the Women’s Premier League 2025 Mini Auction.

RCB retained 14 players

The RCB team has released 7 players, which also includes star players like Heather Knight. The RCB team has retained players like Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Renuka Thakur, Asha Shobhana, Sophie Divine. It was under Mandhana’s captaincy that the RCB team won the WPL 2024 title. He has also made the team win many matches with his excellent batting.

Now RCB has Rs 3.35 crore left for the auction and has already completed its overseas slots ahead of the auction. Now the four players that the RCB team will buy in the auction will all be Indians.
