Vasundhara Raje.
By-elections will be held on November 13 in 7 Rajasthan assembly seats. Keeping this in mind, the BJP has put in all its strength because this is the first test of the Bhajan Lal state government. But BJP leader Vasundhara Raje is staying away from the by-elections to these seven seats, following the line of the Lok Sabha elections. Vasundhara Raje is yet to campaign for any seat. In such a situation, the issue of Vasundhara Raje’s enmity with the BJP organization and the Bhajan government is gaining momentum.
Amid this feud, according to information received from sources, Vasundhara Raje may campaign for the party candidate and her close friend Rajendra Bhambhu in Jhunjhunu. After this, Vasundhara’s campaign manifesto on a seat has become a topic of discussion among BJP leaders. The BJP is fighting in full force for the by-elections from Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khivsar, Ramgarh, Chaurasi and Salumber seats of Rajasthan.
government reputation issue
Of these seven, the BJP had the only seat, Salumber, but the question is about the prestige of the Bhajanlal government. Thus, one less seat in the BJP has been given to the state’s big leaders, including Union ministers and MPs. The party has also included former CM Vasundhara Raje in the list of star activists, but Vasundhara is yet to visit any seat in the by-elections.
Vasundhara Raje is said to be angry with both the government and the organisation. That is why it is not active at all in the state. Now no leader of the state has an answer to any question asked about Vasundhara Raje. The situation is such that Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore and state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal are also giving different answers on Vasundhara Raje’s absence.
Vasundhara program to be decided
State in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal says Vasundhara Raje is a central leader. She is older than me. Your program will be decided by the high command. On the other hand, President Rathod says Vasundhara’s program will be decided, but the Congress is enjoying this BJP infighting.
Congress leader Pratap Singh says no state BJP leader is as big as Vasundhara, and this is the only problem. However, Vasundhara’s policy of staying away from by-elections is not new. Even during the Lok Sabha elections, she was limited only to her son’s constituency. Even before this, during the assembly elections, Vasundhara had not held any rally or meeting in any assembly constituency.
