New Delhi: Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has expressed a strong reaction to the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada. He said those who attacked the Hindu temple had insulted not only Hindus but also Sikh gurus. Because Sikh Gurus gave their lives for the protection of Hindu temples and Sanatan. He demanded to arrest those who committed such acts and punish them according to the law.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said in his statement: “This is very unfortunate. Canada has for many years been a place of peace and harmony for people of all cultures and religions. Therefore, such an act (attack on a Hindu temple) is just one act.” He said that this type of act should never be repeated and those responsible for this attack should truly be arrested and punished according to the Constitution. Action should be taken against them.
The attackers insulted the Sikh gurus.
In his statement, Sri Sri said that people who commit such acts are so stupid that they not only insult Hindus but also insult Sikhs and Sikh Gurus. He recalled that ten Sikh gurus gave their lives for the protection of Hindu temples and Sanatan cultures. Not only this, a Hindu family gifted him a Sikh guru, who fought against injustice, extremism and terrorism. Therefore, the people who attack the Hindu temple are insulting the Sikh gurus and their mission. He said that what happened in Canada is very unfortunate. This is a violation of the principles of the Sikh Gurus. Therefore, I ask all the people to restore peace.
