Two trains met face to face on the track.
Benares: A major train accident was averted in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. In reality, two trains collided on the same track in Varanasi. Swatantrata Senani Express and the Utsav special train narrowly escaped the collision. According to information, due to chain pulling, the Swatantrata Senani Express going from New Delhi towards Jaynagar was stopped at the Varanasi Junction yard. Due to this, the rear of the Swatantrata Senani train stopped just beyond the signal junction. Green signal was given for the Bilaspur-Ayodhya Dham special from the remaining platform number 3 of Varanasi Junction. She also went out on the track.
