Splitsvilla season 5 runner-up Nitin Chauhan has passed away. Nitin, 35, breathed his last on the afternoon of Thursday, November 7, that is, just 4 days before his birthday. Nitin, a resident of Delhi, came to Mumbai to try his luck in acting. He was the winner of season 2 of the reality show ‘Dadagiri’, which aired on Bindass channel. After ‘Dadagiri’, he worked in a series called Zindagi.com on DD National. But after joining MTV’s Splitsvilla in 2012, Nitin got the fame he was hoping for.
Nitin, who joined Splitsvilla with Ali Goni and Paras Chhabra, has been the runner-up of the show. He had to lose to Paras Chhabra in the final round. After Splitsvilla, he worked in many shows like Gumrah, Crime Patrol, Friends Condition Apply and Savdhaan India. ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, which aired on Sony SAB TV in the year 2021, was Nitin’s last serial. Nitin’s co-star Vibhuti Thakur claimed in her Instagram post that Nitin committed suicide. While sharing a photo with Nitin on his Instagram story, Vibhuti wrote that may your soul rest in peace, I am very shocked and also very sad, I wish you had the strength to face this difficult time, I wish your body was strong.
